1. Diagnostic Assessments &
Psychological Evaluations
Psychological evaluations are for
children and adults. They are usually
self referred or referred by
physicians, clinicians and other
agencies to obtain knowledge about a
person’s emotional status and adaptive
functioning. Evaluations assist with
diagnosis, treatment planning and
monitoring client’s progress.
Assessment tools used, depend on the
presenting problems, but may
incorporate a clinical interview,
intelligence testing, personality
assessment, and emotional and behavior
scales.
2. Learning Disabilities & Learning
Styles
Learning disability evaluations are for
children and adults. This type of
evaluation includes an
intelligence
scale
and an
achievement
measure.
Other tests and scales are used
based on the presenting issues and
academic struggles. Piedmont
Performance Evauations is
knowledgable about state guidelines
and school eligibility requirements
to qualify for accommodations in an
academic setting.
Even if learning struggles are not indicated, Piedmont Performance Evaluations can provide recommendations about how one learns best. That way, learning is optimized, and progress can be monitored throughout a student’s educational career.

3. ADHD, Autism and other Developmental
Delays
These diagnoses are made based on
criteria in the diagnostic manual that
is used by doctors and clinicians. The
assessment of these are based on a
thorough interview, observation,
intelligence and academic testing as
well as other standardized scales.
Other diagnoses are ruled out, as there
may be overlapping symptoms.
4. Career Planning, Career Performance and
Team Building
Piedmont Performance Evaluations can
provide students, as early as middle
school, with career paths which are
suited to their personality-to make
learning more individualized and
enjoyable! These evaluations include
a
personality
assessment geared toward school
performance
as well as other interest inventories.
For adults, work is most productive when job competencies correspond with their natural personality traits. Personality assessment for the workplace and interest inventories can help explore possibilities for career paths, and give direction for career transitions.
For businesses, assessments can assist with selection for various workplace positions. Team building workshops can also increase effective communication, improve productivity, reduce conflict within the team, and with clients, provide improved ability to influence others and lead to an appreciation for personality diversity.
